No name, email, profile, or password is required for the ordinary core experience.
Device-side storage supports offline readiness, saved cards, and session preparation.
When public sources are contacted, those hosts may receive technical request data such as IP address.
MuseMood helps people discover and curate public museum artworks through a mood-based collectible card interface.
It is built as a local-first app. The core experience is designed to function without a persistent personal profile stored by MuseMood.
MuseMood does not require account creation, sign-in, or profile registration to use the core app experience.
MuseMood does not ask you to submit your name, email address, password, phone number, or similar personal identity information for ordinary use.
MuseMood does not intentionally include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or behavioral tracking systems for the core app experience.
This static policy site also does not include cookies, analytics scripts, ad pixels, or third-party tracking tags.
To support offline readiness and a smooth art-card experience, MuseMood may keep data locally on your device. Depending on the features in use, this can include:
- Saved or favorited artwork cards
- Mood selections and source preferences
- Theme, reduced-motion, haptics, and similar settings
- Cached artwork images and public museum metadata
- Prepared daily decks, session decks, and related readiness state
- Local cache health or source readiness metadata
This information is intended to remain on your device unless you clear app data, clear cache, uninstall the app, or use an in-app cache-clearing control.
MuseMood may connect to public museum APIs, public knowledge sources, and image servers to load artwork records, artwork images, and related source metadata.
Examples may include The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Rijksmuseum, Wellcome Collection, and Wikidata.
When these requests occur, the source or host serving the response may receive standard technical request information such as your IP address, request headers, and timing data, according to its own privacy practices.
MuseMood may open official museum or source pages in your browser or another app when you choose to view an external record.
Those external websites are not operated by MuseMood and may follow separate privacy policies, security practices, and terms.
You can usually remove locally stored MuseMood data through Android system settings by clearing app storage or app data.
If the app offers an image-cache clearing action, that control is intended to remove cached artwork images rather than every category of local app state.
Uninstalling the app may also remove local data, subject to how your device and operating system handle app storage.
MuseMood is not designed specifically for children and does not knowingly collect personal data from children for the core app experience.
Artwork records, images, metadata, and source pages remain the property or responsibility of their respective institutions and providers.
MuseMood is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Rijksmuseum, Wellcome Collection, Wikidata, or any other source provider unless explicitly stated elsewhere.
Museum-provided titles, artist names, and metadata may appear in their original language or source format.
